About Me

I am a licensed psychologist with experience in dealing with a variety of both serious and every day mental health challenges.

I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in the category of Counselling Psychologist. My practice is registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF)

I completed my two year Masters in Counselling Psychology at the University of Pretoria where my practicals included working at disadvantaged primary schools, Student Support at the University, Itsoseng Clinic in Mamelodi, and Stabilis Drug and Rehabilitation Center. My Internship year was at The University of Witwatersrand. My practical’s provided me a space to work with trauma, crisis and the LGBTQ community.

My passion lies in working with anxiety, depression and trauma, additionally I have a strong interest in assessment and career counselling.

I have received specialised training in various fields of practice including: Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, and Ego State Therapy.
